Who Will Sign Jonathan David? Latest Transfer Odds and Predictions

Given David’s ability to leave Lille without a transfer fee, it’s fair to assume that the 25-year-old will command a strong market over the summer, with top tier clubs like Inter Milan, Napoli and Juventus of Serie A in Italy being our top landing spots for him right now.

Inter Milan leads our odds board right now, at +475, as the club that is currently second in the Serie A league table with 78 points in 2024-25 needs a top tier goal scorer this offseason, as does their two league rivals, in Napoli (+550) and Juventus (+650).

While David isn’t officially allowed to sign with a new club until July 1 (barring a transfer agreement during the FIFA Club World Cup next month), there’s no denying that a fierce bidding war for the up-and-coming striker will likely build in the coming weeks and months, with fellow top level sides like Arsenal (+650), Manchester United (+900), Liverpool and Tottenham (+1250 each) and Aston Villa of the Premier League being longshots to pull off a move for the 25-year-old this summer.

For now, what we know is that David’s time in France appears to be reaching its end point, wrapping up a five-year run that saw the Canadian striker become a household name across the pond while serving as a poster child for the beautiful game north of the border as well.
